Guides

Everything we have written — club by club, stadium by stadium — in each country's own language: Brazil's in Portuguese, Spanish-speaking South America's in Spanish and England's in English, by people who watch.

How to navigate

1

Pick a continent. The ones with no guides yet still appear, saying they are empty.

2

Open a country by its flag. It shows everything we hold about it: competitions, national side, clubs and stadiums.

3

Go into a guide. Every crest, photo and competition mark in there is a whole page about that subject.

What is inside

Before you open one — what each kind of guide actually holds. Nothing here is a promise: it is what the page draws.

Club

Founding, city, stadium, supporters and the league position — and the whole squad, with the date that list was true. The shirt and the membership where the club has one.

Stadium

The home clubs, the stadium's specifications, the photo with its credit and licence, and the map in the right place — with the notes on getting there.

Competition

First edition, how many there have been, who runs it, the current champion and who has won most — the whole history, and the way through to the season being played.

National side

Nickname, debut, World Cups and Copas América — and a history that is shorter where it was researched here rather than ported.

Country

South America

What does not belong to one country. CONMEBOL runs these four competitions across ten nations — filing a continental cup under a country would be picking a winner.
